JOB DESCRIPTION

STG, a wholly owned subsidiary of SOS International LLC (SOSi), is seeking a Software Tester/Training Developer to support the NETCOM G-6 in testing software and applications. The ideal candidate will be someone who possesses experience in Software Testing.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
• Analyze requirements to determine tests needed to verify their functionality
• Create and execute manual test cases for requirements and bugs and record results of those tests
• Perform exploratory testing to increase confidence in software
• Perform task analysis on software and determine training levels for each task
• Develop lesson plans and other training documentation for the system
• Conduct training both in-person and via teleconferencing on a regular basis
• Develop computer-based training for the system
• Create reports to apprise development team of software defects
• Maintain manual test cases in test case management system

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• HS +6, AA/AS +4, BA/BS +2 years' of Technical Experience.
• To include 1-3 years' software testing experience.
• Solid understanding of training development concepts
• Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain interim
• Must obtain Security+ (IAT-II) certification within 180 days
• Be a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situations
• Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• ASTQB Certified Tester or CAST Foundation Level certification
• TS Security Clearance
• Software and Web Development experience
• Knowledge of US Army Network Enterprise configuration
• Fluency in a foreign language

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Normal office working conditions with possible requirement to lift and/or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs.
• Periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary.
