SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an Engagement Operations Task Lead (Indo-Pacific) to join our Intelligence Solutions Group in support of USSOCOM in Tampa, FL. The candidate will supervise regional web-enabled engagement operations leveraging his/her cultural, linguistic, and web support operations experience in the Indo-Pacific Region to disseminate social media information products to target audiences outside the United States. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, working both independently and as an important member of the team. This candidate will support the on-site Program Manager to execute engagement operations on behalf of the Web Support Program in addition to reporting to the SOSi Program Manager located in Reston, VA and will work collaboratively with other Engagement Operations teams.


  • Supervises engagement efforts supporting web-based information operations, ensuring program adherence to customer guidance, program quality standards, and cultural sensitivities
  • Makes observations to customer and program leadership on trends with respect to assigned problem set, recommends approaches and employment of program capabilities
  • Analyzes current media statements or posting support trend analysis and identify key communicators
  • Assists with operations planning and demonstrates knowledge of online social media technologies
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technical and content developments
  • Monitors the status and growth of information communication technologies to make recommendations for technological changes or improvements to the program
  • Captures lessons learned and best practices and support efforts to apply best practices across related program efforts
  • Applies linguistic and cultural expertise for quality control purposes
  • Current DOD Secret Clearance 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related business or technical discipline
  • Requires 3 -10 years of related experience, including supervisory experience and experience coordinating engagements with foreign audiences to counter violent extremism
  • Possess Pashto and/or Dari language proficiency equivalent to ILR 4 in listening/speaking/reading
  • Familiarity with PSYOP/MISOpolicy issues and practices is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with combatant command operational environments is preferred
  • Excellent business acumen and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in other Microsoft office applications


  • Masters' degree or the equivalent of education, training, and work/military experience is preferred
  • PMP certification is preferred
  •       Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  •       Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment
  •       Some evening, weekend, or shift work could be required
  •       Some travel may be required
