SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to support the Accounting department at our corporate headquarters in Reston, Virginia. The Accounts Payable Manager reports to the Senior Accounting Manager and is responsible for managing all accounts payable and banking operations.  Successful experience in managing payment of vendor invoices and coordinating transactions with banks is required.  This position may require travel to the company’s operating locations.


  • Manages the accuracy and productivity of day to day activities of Accounts Payable, Travel Expense, Cash, and Banking
  • Coordinates banking relations for operational accounts and transactions
  • Supervises, trains, and evaluates a team of professionals in cash applications, accounts payable, and travel
  • Analyzes banking transactions and petty cash
  • Prepares and processes wire transfers.Oversee system feeds for ACH
  • Meet financial department schedules for data processing and month-end closing
  • Manages AP and Travel activities in the Deltek Costpoint accounting software
  • Analyzes and interprets financial data and recommends changes to improve systems and financial performance
  • Participates in projects performed by the Accounting Department
  • Identifies potential problems or areas for improvement and provides solutions
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting/Finance/Business preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Prior experience in U.S. Government contracting environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize multiple on-going projects
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint accounting software
  • Normal office working conditions
