JOB DESCRIPTION

Join SOS International (SOSi) and watch your career soar as a Service Asset & Configuration (SACM) Process Manager, a position located in Ft. Huachuca, Arizona.  This position will support the Regional Cyber Center – CONUS, an exciting program focused on operation, maintenance, and defense of the CONUS portion of the LandWarNet.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

The Service Asset & Configuration Process Manager, supports the appointed organizational process owner for the delivery and measurement of the SACM service management process. The process manager is accountable to the organization for stewardship of fixed assets of the organization that are under the control of IT (CIs); as well as for the development, maintenance, and improvements of process activities to ensure the achievement of agreed upon service levels in alignment with established policy and key performance indicators (KPIs).  Responsibilities include:

  • Establishes, documents, and refines the processes and procedures required to ensure quality service delivery
  • Develops metrics and reporting methodologies to measure process performance and improvement
  • Define and agree the service assets that will be treated as configuration items (CIs)
  • Ensure that configuration data is available when and where it is needed to support other service management processes
  • Planning and managing support for SACM tools and related procedures
  • Works directly with ITIL process analysts to in the gathering, interpretation, trending, and reporting of process related data
  • Planning and managing support for SACM tools and processes
  • Works directly with the ITIL process expert to ensure process improvement initiatives align with best practice guidance within the ITIL service lifecycle
  • Cooperates with other ITIL process managers to ensure inter-process activities are well maintained and transition smoothly across the ITIL service lifecycle
  • Ensure the organization is sufficiently trained to conduct SACM service management activities
  • Prepares and presents to organizational leadership a monthly overview of process related metrics and activities
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • HS +5 or AA/AS +3 or BA/BS + 1 year of IT/ Help Desk
  • IAT II (Security+CE or equivalent) certification at hire
  • ITIL Foundation certification required w/in 90 days of hire
  • ITIL Intermediate required w/in 6 months of hire
  • Experience working in a dynamic military environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent PC skills utilizing the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project
  • Secret clearance or ability to obtain interim
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous configuration management/CMDB experience
  • ITIL Practitioner certification
  • Previous experience with an IT Service Management tool (e.g. BMC Remedy, ServiceNow)
