JOB DESCRIPTION

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Talent Acquisition Sourcer to join our recruiting team in Reston, VA. The Sourcer will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust talent pipeline for assigned programs and contingent hires. The ideal candidate will have prior technical sourcing experience and a demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high volume environment.

Essential Job Duties

  • Develops strong relationships with potential candidates and partners with assigned Recruiters and Recruiting Managers to provide qualified candidates for open requisitions
  • Sources active and passive candidates through Internet job boards, subscription databases, newspaper advertisements, cold calling, job fairs, networking, referrals, and other creative candidate sourcing strategies
  • Collaborates with recruiters and recruiting managers to determine position specifications and pre-screening questions
  • Pre-screens resumes, conducts initial interviews and evaluates candidates’ suitability
  • Supports proposal preparation by recruiting key personnel, formatting resumes, and obtaining letters of commitment from contingent hires
  • Conducts reference checks
  • Maintains recruiting documentation required for OFCCP compliance
  • Contributes to special projects as required
  • Performs other duties assigned by supervisor
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Relevant past experience with technical and Intelligence sourcing
  • Experience in the government contracting industry highly preferred
  • Knowledge of employment laws and hiring practices
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Quick learner with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and to organize and prioritize multiple on-going projects in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to speak with large groups of prospective candidates
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite applications and hands-on familiarity with various recruiting sources and tools
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment
  • Requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary
