SOS International LLC (SOSi), is seeking a System Administrator in Fort Huachuca, AZ. The ideal candidate will possess experience in Windows servers running on VMWare at dispersed data centers. General tasks include managing hardware, deploying new servers, patch management, application deployment, storage configuration and management. Server OS must be maintained according to customer security requirements, maintaining minimum patch standards and configurations.Essential Job Duties• Ability to establish working relations at all organizational levels. Demonstrate ability to diplomatically and effectively deal with Government officials and program office stakeholders• Work at a high pace environment with multiple sites cooperatively as a team to accomplish mission requirements• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP management and implementation Strong Network Operations technical support and problem-solving skills• Operate and maintain VMware virtualized environments on diverse hardware platforms• Plan, coordinate, and document the use of revised/updated procedures, processes, and methods for the operations and maintenance• Utilize Remedy ITSM, or similar ticket systems, to track and resolve problems impacting continued system operations and make recommendations for any corrective actions required• Troubleshoot complex issues using GUI, command line interface, and Windows PowerShell• Utilize diagnostic tools to trace and resolve technical problems• Work with remote customers and technical support vendors to resolve complicated hardware and software issues• Provide administrative support for servers and workstations• Apply configuration to servers and workstations to maintain DISA STIG compliance• Apply provided patches to keep servers and workstations compliant with IAVM requirements• Provide creative solutions to mission requirements to maintain operational status of servers and workstations
• Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary• Participate in rotational on-call duties to provide after-hours support• Willing to travel to Contingency of Operations Plan (COOP) sites
