JOB DESCRIPTION

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Media Verification Analyst (MVA) for a full-time position supporting our United States Government (USG) customer. The MVA’s duties focus primarily on measures of performance for radio and television dissemination of public service announcements (PSA) that are part of an overarching strategic communication effort in support of SOSi’s USG customer.  The position is located in Tampa, Florida.  Typical applicants for this position include: professionals from the military or private industry with experience in strategic communication, media analysis, statistical analysis, billing and/or support for analytical processes. This position will report to the Senior Strategic Communications Planner for dissemination in Afghanistan.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Using PSA spot verification information provided by the in-country team, the MVA will verify PSA placements against the USG order to determine how well the stations performed in accordance with guidelines set forth in the vendor’s Statement of Work (SOW) to assist future planning efforts
  • The MVA tracks performance up to 60 radio stations and 12 TV stations and provides detailed reports of their performance using MS Excel and Adobe PDF
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to obtain DOD clearance
  • Minimum 2 years applied or academic experience in media, marketing or government data analysis roles
  • Must be fully proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Adobe Pro, and office automation equipment
  • Organize and properly prioritize work assignments and function well in an environment that requires constant multi-tasking

Preferred Requirements

  • Graduate degree in marketing or media concentration
  • Marketing experience with foreign markets
  • SECRET security clearance preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Primarily an 8 hour work day – some extra hours may be required
