SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join our Billing team at our operational headquarters in Reston, VA.

Essential Job Duties:
• Calculate complex billing charges in accordance with contracted terms within the Deltek accounting system
• Utilize contract calendar for invoicing activities
• Review billing data from various sources to ensure that the amounts and account numbers are accurate
• Investigate the billing suspense items and bills as needed
• Interpret and explain bills to clients and staff as needed
• Update the collection report bi-weekly and resolves accounts past due 90 days
• Maintain other spreadsheets per manager’s request
• Monitor and inform Billing Manager if there are any problems with the labor, expense report, and contract as well as any other issues hindering invoice preparation
• Participate in projects performed by the Billing Department
• Identify potential problems or areas for improvement and provides solutions
• Assist in DCAA audit
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

• Three to five years of billing experience working in a U.S. Government contracting environment 
• Two years of experience with Deltek Costpoint preferred
• Independent, self-starter who can multi-task effectively and work with minimal supervision
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytic and problem solving ability
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
