SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager for our current contract located on Camp Taji, Iraq. 


Work with the SOSi Project Management Office (PMO) in Iraq to lead all QA/QC endeavors that are part of SOSi projects in Iraq
Manage QA/QC team of 8 people
Coordinate program QA/QC reviews with Corporate Director of Quality Management 
Work with all USG, Coalition and Client QA/QC representatives to ensure compliance with Performance Work Statements (PWS) and contract deliverables
Maintain SOSi’s SharePoint collaboration site of current SOPs and DOPs and all applicable references for SOSi projects in Iraq
Track and maintain all internal and external QA/QC inspections and surveillance audits
Develop and respond to any Non-Conformance reports received by our clients working with Corporate QA/QC personnel 
Report QA/QC feedback from end users/customers to PMO to ensure quality on mission critical aspects of BLS services, facilities and projects 
Review all quality aspects for major and minor construction projects and ensure quality work standards completed on all projects
Maintain accountability for QA/QC aspects of facility design and construction, and ensure compliance with design standards, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures; 
Maintain current knowledge of US and International standards and requirements applicable to the sites 
Monitor consultant and subcontractor performance in regards to QA/QC aspects of all services and deliverables provided by subcontractors
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical skills, and high attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to multi-task

Bachelor degree or Project Management degree 
Minimum 15 years’ experience in positions of increasing responsibility with at least five years of QA/QC experience 
Experience working in a contingency environment such as Iraq, Afghanistan, or some other comparable environment 
Experience working on a military base
Experience working on projects which are being accomplished under US Federal contracting laws, rules, regulations, procedures, and practices 
Experience with development and presentation of proposals for new business 
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and on a team 
Background displaying ability to work with or to staff, organize, lead and manage a diverse work force larger than 10 people 
Demonstrable proficiency in MS Office suite
Knowledge of Primavera P6/Sure Trak/MS Project, and project management platforms 
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards 
Knowledge of military standards, government regulations, and commercial specifications 
Ability to pass basic physical and background checks sufficient for duty in a contingency/military environment


Preferred Qualities

Prior military service or current [reserve] military service
Large Dining Facility (DFAC) Operations and Food Service Industry experience
LOGCAP/Military management experience
Work experience in hazardous environments
Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable
Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions
Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions
