JOB DESCRIPTION

** This position is contingent upon contract award ** 

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Chief of Party (COP) for an anticipated USAID-funded project.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Provide overall creative direction, strategy and leadership and must possess strong management skills necessary to develop, articulate, and implement the vision for this contract
  • Will be the main liaison between the Contractor and the COR
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess a university degree in journalism, mass communication, marketing, public relations, advertising, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing a similar program in a developing country context, eight years of which must be in a leadership or managerial role in an advertising media communications firm
  • Must possess experience designing and implementing development communication strategies and experience leading the development and production of culturally and politically sensitive mass media
