SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Procurement Analyst reporting to our Vice President for Procurement and responsible for vetting vendors, analyzing procurement trends, and building metrics dashboards for key performance indicators. The ideal candidate will be a high energy, self-starter who is driven and motivated by improving the performance of the Procurement team.

Essential Job Duties

  • Responsible for using our Arachnys tool to vet vendors, run a wide variety of procurement reports on vendor spend, manager vendor rating program, build dashboard for key metrics, monitor stats, and procurement file internal audits.
  • Evaluating industry market and identify major players, trends, and opportunities.
  • Resolving complex relationship issues and monitoring supplier performance, while driving continuous improvement.
  • Ensures compliance with internal purchasing policies including receipt of all required requisitions with approvals.
  • Research and resolve purchasing issues, disputes, terms/conditions, etc.
  • Providing assistance in preparing, updating, and maintaining SOPs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant business experience; preferably in a procurement or supply chain management role in the federal contracting industry.
  • Must possess strong proven experience with data analytics.
  • Must possess excellent proven analytical skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Access, Cognos, Deltek CostPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills, including prioritizing a workload and multi-tasking while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Some language proficiency in Arabic is desirable, but not required.
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment
