JOB DESCRIPTION

SOS International LLC (SOSi), is seeking a Change Manager to support the NETCOM G-6 in Ft. Huachuca, AZ. The ideal candidate will possess experience in the ITIL Change Management Process.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES?

  • Record and accept all Requests for Change (RFC) and review records for completeness
  • Validate change timing and risk
  • Prioritize, categorize, and communicate the status of all RFCs to ensure proper planning and approval
  • Verify each RFC meets its objective Facilitate Change boards for contract and government personnel
  • Assist staff with questions, issues, or concerns regarding the Change Management Process
  • Develop and maintain all necessary Change process documentation
  • Manage and coordinate activities necessary to control, track and audit Changes in the environment
  • Evaluate performance metrics against defined critical success factors; institute actions to correct or streamline process; prepare reports
  • Ensure Change status, progress and issues are communicated to appropriate groups
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • HS + 8 or AA/AS +6 or BA/BS +4 years of experience in an IT environment
  • To include up to 2 years Change Management/ ITIL experience
  • Must have IAT II certification (GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP) or equivalent prior to hire
  • Must have ITIL Foundation certification prior to hire
  • Must acquire ITIL Intermediate within 180 days of hire
  • Must have an active Secret Security clearance (or an Interim Secret) prior to hire
  • Experience working in a dynamic military environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent PC skills utilizing the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework
  • Experience supporting existing and designing new ITIL support processes
  • Proven ability to properly prioritize and execute tasks with multiple competing priorities
  • Strong management and organizational skills
  • Understanding of ITIL based reporting and how to use this information to drive operation improvement and efficiency
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience with an IT Service Management tool (BMC Remedy, ServiceNow)
  • ITIL Intermediate certification
  • Previous experience as a Service Manager

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work environment is a normal office setting
