JOB DESCRIPTION
SOS International, LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Network Administrator (ENAT Applications) in Montgomery, AL.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

Provide application management and troubleshooting for all 26 NOS systems that monitor and/or manage United States Air Force (USAF) circuits, network devices, computers, and applications.  Guarantee healthy system performance using Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) and Government Off The Shelf (GOTS) products including Splunk, Solarwinds, E-Health, CACTI, and NETQoS.  Extend applications and provide integration assistance to allow applications to complement one another.  Provide troubleshooting expertise to resolve issues related to failed applications, SNMP polling errors, and system performance.  Assist the Performance Tracking and Trending Analysis team in developing timely and accurate trend analyses and apply technical expertise in the production of customized reports generated by the toolset.  Perform evaluations of new solutions and provide recommendations to appropriate Client personnel.  Responsible for integrating and documenting new/revised technologies or complex configuration changes to the existing 26 NOS architecture. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

-  Demonstrates technical expertise in network applications deployment, development and sustainment, software lifecycle management and engineering processes, network/system design, and product selection; evaluation of system architecture and design alternatives to meet user requirements

-  Information Assurance Technical Level I (IAT-I) Certification: Certified Automation Professional (CAP), Global Information Security Fundamentals (GISF), Global Security Leadership Certificate (GSLC) or Security+ (Security+ preferred)

-  Secret Clearance, with ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance      

-  Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline and 1-2 years of experience or 3-4 years of experience providing enterprise monitoring, network performance management, and capacity analysis with team leadership

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-  Computer Network Defense (CND) Certification – CND-IS: Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) (CEH preferred)

-  Experience providing information technology support to DoD operations in unclassified/classified networking environments
