SOSi is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Manager for a full-time position supporting our United States Government (USG) customer.   The IT Manager shall develop and maintain networks and server infrastructure and troubleshoot GFE and Contractor-Acquired IT equipment.  Additionally, IT Managers shall manage and maintain a database for collection and distribution of all customer products including but not limited to: raw video footage, audio images, text, and web-based products.  


  • Conduct day-to-day-management oversight of all IT functions associated with a 100-person plus network
  • Oversee network security, write, update, and enforce IT policies
  • Manage and maintain a database for collection and distribution of all audio, audio-visual, print, and other similar products including; this will include but is not limited to raw video footage, audio, images, text and web-based products
  • Manage, network architecture design and implementation
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting across a broad range of IT systems
  • Provide professional and courteous IT support to both contractor and customer personnel
  • Active DOD SECRET security clearance
  • Five (5) years of experience working in IT asset use and management, networking, database management, and possess Security+ and CASP certification along with 1 Cisco certificate (any)
  • Must have experience associated with network administration, system administration, and help desk duties
  • Possess experience in network architecture design, implementation and maintenance, database maintenance and troubleshooting across a broad range of IT systems
  • Experience with NetApps servers 
  • Function effectively as a member of a small team of IT professionals 
  • Organize and properly prioritize work assignments and function well in an environment that requires constant multi-tasking - and often long hours
  • Excellent written, oral, briefing, interpersonal and technical skills


  • Fluency in a foreign language

  • Live and work daily with military customer in austere conditions across Afghanistan 
  • Function effectively and efficiently in a combat zone, during extended periods of high pressure and stress
