SOSi is seeking a Waste Management Administrative Assistant for our current contract located on Camp Taji, Iraq. 

  • Provides direct administrative support to the Waste Management and Incineration Departments
  • Will assist in the development of briefings, analysis of data, and collation of critical reports for submission to the Customer/Client representatives and/or senior management
  • Develops and maintain office files, collate and creation of presentation files, data books, design drawings data files 
  • Schedules and coordinates calendars and meetings 
  • Collects and tracks time sheets and time-off schedules  
  • Acts as meeting notes keeper during weekly staff meetings; collates and distributes notes to all personnel attending meeting 
  • Maintains documents as requested and assists in writing policies and procedures 
  • Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Provides administrative support to ensure delivery of mission critical services and associated reports
  • Manages all PWS required documentation 
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager
  • Bachelor Degree in Business field or equivalent
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in an administrative position
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Access) 
  • Must possess excellent English speaking and writing abilities
  • Possess a high level of professionalism and customer service
  • Must have good organizational skills
  • Must handle and manage multiple tasks; detail oriented
  • Must be flexible with working hours 
  • Ability to work as a member of a team 
  • Ability to manage workload under tight deadlines 
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as necessary 


  • Fluency in a foreign language

  • Willingness to live and work under environmental and other conditions that may be uncomfortable at times
  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions
  • Requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary 
  • May require ability to lift/and or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs.
