STG Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of SOS International, LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Business Analyst to support our Rock Island, Illinois team. The Business Analyst will analyze functional and technical requirements, prepare systems and operational documentation, make recommendations for standardization, and develop training guides and new user training. The ideal candidate will have experience performing high level analysis and design tasks associated with the overall design of a business process management system, ideally with Serena Business Manager (SBM).

• Assist in the development of efficient and effective solutions for complex business problems.
• Assist in the standardization and simplification of existing tools and processes.
• Proactively research and suggest enhancements processes and procedures.
• Assess solution risks through understanding business impacts and industry trends.
• Translate user requests into technical requirement information.
• Gather and understand requirements from end users and process owners and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
• Works with management and customers to present result of analysis.
• Prepares documentation on new workflow creation.
• Prepares training guides and workflow diagrams.
• Provides remote training to new users as required.
• Acts as a liaison between the customer, project manager, and the technical team. 

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 1+ years of directly interfacing with customers and end users.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to translate technical terms into laymen’s terms and vice versa.
• Proficiency with MS Office including PowerPoint and Visio.

• Bachelors Degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience directly with Serena Business Manager.
• 3+ years in a customer facing position in a government contracting environment.
• Programming experience is a plus.
• Fluency in a foreign language.

• Normal office conditions with possible requirement to lift and/or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs.
