SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Manager for our current contract located on Camp Taji, Iraq. 


Manage the strategic operations of assigned facilities to ensure the operations, maintenance, and vendor management standards of the contract are met in a cost effective, safe and efficient manner
Cooperation with the customer’s upper level management and O&M service subcontractors, responsible for overall account operations in accordance with approved operating guidelines and budget. 
Participates in future planning and develops plans with all functional areas in O&M
Develop transition plan to migrate current base operations and facility support services from incumbent contractors
Assess current operating procedures and capabilities
Develop operating plan for facilities and utilities support to US contractors, local national and third country national personnel at the site
Develop plan to reconfigure and reduce the physical footprint of the base
Develop resource and cost requirements to support the operation of the site
Ensure employees comply with the company timekeeping policies and procedures
Protect and account for all assigned company property 
Utilities support plan:  electrical power generation and distribution, water works (potable, gray and black)
Identify potential problems or areas for improvement and provides solutions
Responsible for maintenance, repair, construction and operation of facilities to ensure cost effective and reliable support
Responsible for the Master Maintenance Schedule of Work (MMSOW)
Responsible for the operation of the service desk 
Provide recommendation for building, remodeling, upgrading and coordinating office space planning and design and preparing facility master plan
Ensures a high degree of customer satisfaction by quality on time performance
Coordinates and informs all O&M personnel
Performs other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering or Master Degree and PE licensed preferred
Ten years of facility management or building operations experience required
Five years of supervisory experience in management, vendor management, operations and maintenance required
Demonstrated strong leadership abilities, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks independently
Able to deal with customers and others at all levels
Must be a team player, committed to working in a quality environment
Overseas experience in a contingency environment is required; preferably DOD or DOS experience


Willingness to live and work under environmental and other conditions that may be uncomfortable at times
Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions
Requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary 
May require ability to lift/and or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs.
