SOSi is seeking a Logistics Manager to provide transportation, shipping, customs, logistics and administrative support for a U.S. Government program in Bogota, Colombia.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
  • This position requires extensive interaction with technical and administrative personnel from the Government and other teamed companies
  • Provides all aspects of logistical support for the program
  • Requisition supplies and materials.  Manage warehouse operations and provide stock control functions and services
  • Manage and dispose of serviceable excess and unserviceable assets
  • Provide fuel management functions through the DLA Energy (DLA-E) Enterprise External Business Portal (EEBP) via DLA Account Management and Provisioning System (AMPS)
  • Responsible for a supply room and self-service supply center
  • Manage a shelf-life control system for contractor managed property in accordance with AR 740-1
  • Maintain accountability of government furnished and contractor provided equipment and facilities.  Manage Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss (FLIPL) actions for lost or damaged property
  • Prepare status reports and input to contract deliverables
  • Utilize the Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A), PBUSE and ULLS for supply, maintenance and property accountability functions
  • Utilize contractor provided maintenance and asset management system
  • Support contract compliance
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Manage workforce of Colombian citizens ensuring compliance with labor laws
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Current US Government SECRET security clearance
  • Experience managing contractor personnel on programs valued greater than $5M
  • Candidate must have superior communications and organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding customer relations
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s in business, management, or logistics related discipline AND Ten (10) years of U.S. Military Logistics Experience ORFifteen (15) years of U.S. Military Logistics Experience
  • Knowledge of Army Standard Automation Management Systems (STAMIS) and logistics procedures
  • Experience leading organization of 100+ employees
  • Knowledge of the Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-Army) and logistics and procedures
  • Experience utilizing commercial asset management system
  • Experience performing fuel management for DLA support program
  • Experience in managing Government furnished property in accordance with Army Regulation 710-2
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Certified in the S4 or Maintenance Manager GCSS-Army courses.
  • Language proficiency:  level IV English; Level III Spanish

  • Living and working conditions are in established facilities in an urban environment
  • Place of Performance:  Offices, warehouses, motor pools, and maintenance facilities in Bogota, Colombia
