STG, a wholly owned subsidiary of SOS International (SOSi) is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our IT team to improve IT cyber security posture reducing external and insider threats.


  • Supports the ISSM in their efforts to implement security requirements as mandated by NISPOM and DAAPM
  • Orchestrates and manages the IS configuration
  • Advise the system owner regarding security considerations in applications systems procurement or development, implementation, operation and maintenance, and disposal activities (i.e., system development life cycle management)
  • Maintain cooperative relationship with business partners or other inter-connected systems
  • Control, label, virus scan, and appropriately transfer data (upload/download) between information systems at varying classification levels


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or an information systems/technology filed
  • Experience securing multiple CSP hybrid cloud environments
  • Experience configuring enterprise data loss prevention (DLP)
  • Experience securing AD federation in a multi cloud hybrid environment
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in IT security area
  • ISSO Certification
  • Working knowledge of SAP, JSIP, and CSF/RMF
  • Working knowledge of National Institute of Technology and Standards (NIST) (SP) 800-37 and the Assessment & Authorization process
  • Knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) (SP) 800-53, Rev.4  security controls
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001 (Information Security)
  • Understanding of National Industry Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)


Customer specific Public Trust with ability to obtain a higher clearance level if required.
