JOB DESCRIPTION
SOSi is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to join our growing Mission Solutions Group – Iraq (MSG-I) team based out of our operations headquarters in Reston, VA. 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• Responsible for assisting the Program Management team in the conduct of current and future operations for a Base Operations and Life Support services program in Iraq
• Will oversee the collection, analysis, accuracy, and compliance of data and develop processes, procedures, and tracking methodology to enable the Program Management team to  achieve
  organizational goals and objectives
• May be requested to lead cross-functional planning teams to develop holistic, coordinated solutions of challenging problem sets
• Acts on behalf of the Senior Operations Manager in his absence
• Plans, coordinates, and synchronizes all MSG-I operations policy, procedures, and planning with the Senior Operations Manager
• Works closely with the MSG-I Team in support of Foreign Military Sales, Direct Commercial Sales, and US and Coalition Military with the Iraqi Security Forces, and other designated Clients
  and locations as required
• Responsible to manage responses to Solicitations, Request for Quotes (RFQ), and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) requirements for the Clients
• Coordinates directly with the Sub Contract Manager and Program Controls to ensure that client requirements are correctly and accurately translated into subcontractor requirements
• Develops the Purchase Requests for the Sub Contractors to ensure proper financial accountability
• Develops and/or analyzes program metrics and prepares reports and briefings making recommendations to managers based on the data/trends identified
• Assists in the development of management-level program review briefings
• Reviews, analyzes and prepares reports, records, and directives, and confers with managers / supervisors to obtain the necessary data and business metrics for planning proposals, and 
  activities such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered
• Assumes the responsibility for procurement actions and research, as well as handling all shipping of materials and equipment to Iraq in support of the MSG-I program
• Must maintain records and/or databases of all orders and shipments of materials
• Perform other duties as assigned 
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  Bachelor's degree in business management discipline required or a minimum of 5 - 7 years of progressive experience in operations management, 
    training/assessment programs, or related operations
Ability to multi-task; organize and prioritize multiple on-going projects
Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to make significant presentations to senior staff and/or officials
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Projects
Excellent proficiency in VISIO (org charts, flowcharts)
Costpoint requisitioner experience
Experience in program policy modification, contract and subcontract administration
Experience in managing overseas base security, proficiency in SPOT
Must work well among the MSG and Corporate staff to achieve the intended results
Ability to adapt easily in a complex, growing, developing, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS


• Experience in overseas contingency operations preferred
• Excel Power user preferred, minimum capability charts, tables, v-lookup, if formulas, pivot tables & charts
• Conditional formatting knowledge a plus
 Data Viz experience a plus
 Fluency in a foreign language
 U.S. Government security clearance

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Team oriented, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Ability to lift and/or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs
Willingness to travel up to 10 days within a two-month period to austere and hazardous duty locations
