SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an
 Operations Manager responsible for acknowledging and coordinating timely completion of all  tasks supporting a major language project. The Operations Manager would be Virtual in the DC metro area or onsite. 

  • Responsible for acknowledging and coordinating timely completion of all tasks, managing and monitoring performance of personnel, delegating tasks to the appropriate personnel or teams, ensuring that personnel are trained and qualified to perform all functions, and scaling the number of personnel relative to the requirements.
    • Ability to utilize management tools
    • Measure and manage the productivity of operations
    • Manage workflow operations
    • Develop operational reports based on productivity

    • Bachelors' degree OR 8 years' of experience
    • 5 years of experience managing operations and associated tasks preferably in a language operations supporting document exploitation or language workflows. 


    • Familiarity with document exploitation workflow
    • Experience with Human Language Technologies
    • Experience with SDL products
    • Fluency in a foreign language
