** This position is contingent upon award of contract **SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Deputy Maintenance Manager for a proposal located in Juba, South Sudan.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES• Supervises facility maintenance for 100+ structures• Ensures maintenance activities are performed to standard and safely• Helps develops preventative maintenance work lists for all grounds and equipment and ensures regular execution• Sets key performance indicators for all direct reports and monitors performance against target• Helps develops operating plan for facilities and utilities support to site population• Reviews maintenance output, action plan removing backlogs and co-ordinates with the Facilities Maintenance Manager for interfacing and works towards reduction of failures• Trains and mentors maintenance personnel• Performs other duties assigned by management
• College degree, 2 year trade school diploma, or eight (8) years of relevant experience• At least six (6) years of recent experience working facility management or public works• Qualified electrician, plumber, or HVAC technician• Experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry work • Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Attention to detail• Ability to work as part of integrated planning team• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
