JOB DESCRIPTION

***This position is contingent upon award of contract***
 

SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Training Specialist-Lead (Senior) to support a program providing language support to our customer, including tasks such as monitoring, collection, research, and translation of foreign open source information. The contract personnel, with guidance from the customer, exploit a broad spectrum of foreign sources (internet, social media, television, newspapers, etc.), collect information and monitor those foreign sources to create products (reports, summaries, translations, etc.). 

 ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES 
• Responsible for providing all training of all personnel assigned to the contract 
• Identify initial, remedial, and annual training for all contract personnel 
• Responsible for maintaining language proficiency and other certifications to meet contract requirements
• All other duties as assigned 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; US citizenship required
• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, knowledge management, education, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience working with current technology and multimedia to develop training programs utilizing technology-enabled learning and performance support solutions
• Broad understanding of and experience with instructional design and curriculum development

 • Work experience within the Intelligence Community
 • Minimum of two (3) years’ experience developing and teaching open source tradecraft or related courses
 • Familiarity with Human Language Technology (HLT)
