JOB DESCRIPTION

SOSi is seeking a
Property Manager Specialist who will account for, maintain and report on all property management in support of the DLITE II EUCOM Task Order and within the EUCOM area of operations. This role is authorized to act on all matters relating to the property management of the TO.  The Property Manager Specialist will be responsible for the management all government property supporting staff and personnel. 

Contract will cover EUCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) with primary locations in Poland and Ukraine (some travel may be required to various sites located throughout the EUCOM AOR).

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Accountable for all property assigned to the EUCOM Task Order
  • Maintain and cultivate the process, systems, procedures, records and methodologies necessary for effective control of Government property consistent with Army and industry practices and standards
  • Account for all government property to include clothing and, OCIE and office equipment furnished to the vendor on the task order
  • Maintain hand receipt accounts
  • Ensure that controls are effectively in place to prevent fraud, waste, abuse and mismanagement
  • Maintain overall responsibility of the administration, safety, health and welfare, and overall management of all linguistic support services that directly support United States military and/or coalition forces
  • Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • U.S. passport, and Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in business related field OR an education equivalency of 10 years career in Military or unit supply services Program Management (retired at E5 or higher level)
  • Knowledgeable of Property accountability, inventory management, record keeping, clothing management, command supply discipline, hand receipt procedures, turn in procedures and management controls Knowledgeable of Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE)
  • Life Cycle Management Automated supply system accounting Contract Property Management Systems
  • Skills: Has the communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates both CONUS & OCONUS.


Desired Skills 

  • Previous operational experience working with linguists in support of Government operations (Contractor/Military theater experience preferred).
  • Having worked in an environment having a significant element of hazard and hardship.
  • Having experience working and living in a deployed environment.
  • Must have intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to work extended hours in support of 24/7 operations.
  • Employee must be detail oriented and organized and must demonstrate time management.
  • The employee must have the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner as well as the ability to meet deadlines when applicable.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Working conditions are normal for an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions; however,
work long hours for extended periods of time and travel in a high risk environment, frequent travel / site visits are required (travel between locations on foot or by vehicle).  Some locations may be remote, high-risk, austere, and geographically diverse
