JOB DESCRIPTION

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Finance Specialist for a proposal located in Juba, South Sudan.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Manage finances for a program including the following:
o Invoice packages
o Vendor payments
o Labor time-cards accuracy
o Restaurant sales
o Inventories and audits
o Reporting financial data
o Internal controls
Prepares work to be processed by gathering, sorting, organizing, and recording data
Receives, reviews and audits for accuracy and compliance subcontractor labor time-cards
Prepares the documentation/backup for the vendor labor invoices
Reviews invoices for proper backup, authorization, approvals, correct contract codes, amounts, and distribution
Responds to inquiries on invoice payment from vendors; investigates issues and questions related to payment processing and any discrepancies in a timely manner
Tracks and reconciles wire confirmations 
Updates financial spreadsheets with daily transactions
Participates in inventory audit process
Participates in projects performed by the corporate staff
Performs other duties as assigned by management

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Three-year diploma from an accredited finance or accounting school
Minimum of three (3) years of professional financial management experience
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Good strategic and tactical business skills
Good understanding of internal controls
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
Fluent in written and spoken English

Living and working conditions are in established facilities in an urban environment
May include long hours, exposure to weather and potentially hazardous conditions
Personnel should be aware of potential requirement to move on short notice and under adverse conditions
