JOB DESCRIPTION

SOSi is seeking a Dispatcher - Bus Service for our current contract located on Camp Taji, Iraq. 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
  • Performs primary dispatch ops for Taji Bus service
  • Managed daily schedules for Bus route and ensures drivers and vehicles are ready for service
  • Performs day to day repair service and maintenance activities of vehicles 
  • Assigning motor pool buses to the staff when required
  • Ensures right issuance of a bus that fulfills the transportation requirements of an employee
  • Collects mileage information and other related data as required
  • Maintaining an automated log / vehicle records of all buses
  • Maintaining pool vehicle requisitions in the computerized database
  • Making vehicle inspections for determining the need for repairs, maintenance, or servicing
  • Performing cleaning duties – bus washing, vacuuming, & waxing
  • Fueling vehicles at both company and external fueling stations
  • Maintaining good professional relations with motor pool clients, vendors and general public
  • Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum two (2) years of vehicle maintenance experience 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Organized and knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Must be able to operate cars safely
  • Must know how to wash, vacuum, and wax cars
  • Understand the various features & requirements of all models 
  • Knowledge of diagnostics and ability to conduct technical research on the computer

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluency in a foreign language

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Willingness to live and work under environmental and other conditions that may be uncomfortable at times
  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions
  • Requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary 
  • May require ability to lift/and or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs.
