SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an IT Director to join a large medical support services program in Iraq supporting our U.S. Government customer

• Supervises IT staff
• provides IT support throughout Iraq and the entire program
• Ensures all program activities are implemented in a timely manner and reporting activities as required 
• Performs server patching of servers 
• Supports network infrastructure, supports VoIP phones and understands Call Manager functions 
• Supports Wireless communications 
• Designs and maintains cabling infrastructure 
• Coordinates network changes with staff and subcontractors as required 
• Works with monitoring systems
• Supports operating system servers 
• Performs IT help desk functions 
• Confers with managers to obtain information on limitations and capabilities of existing systems and capabilities required projected workload
• Assists with the planning, implementation, and supporting of the network platform and with the installation and maintenance of various Local Area Networks’ hardware and software infrastructure


• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
• Minimum of five years direct experience in Iraq, performing similar duties is desirable
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in IT and some supervisor experience required
• Maintain current certification Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Experience in satellite communications strongly desirable
• Must have relevant experience for at least six months out of the past year


Work Environment
• Living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable
• Long Hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions
• Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse condition
